It’s 2 AM in the Bangkok Airport and we’ve got another five hour layover before Penang. These reservations would never have been made by me. But the airport is new and almost surrealistically beautiful at night — blue light and concrete and aluminum, with futuristic peoplemovers. This is not the same airport I landed at only a year and a half ago. All of Asia is just changing by the day!
Despite the length, it’s been a lovely and easy trip so far. Unfortunately, I don’t have a strong enough or steady enough wireless connection to try for video, so I’ll just content myself with writing for tonight, and try some more video tomorrow. You’ve already seen me in these clothes anyway:-)
