Francine,
At last – I seem to have stumbled across someone who talks complete sense and who isn’t a doom-mongerer!
Without exception – I’ve been living by the 10 lessons you’ve just documented since October 2008… I’ve lost count of the number of people who’ve looked at me with a raised eyebrow when I told them I was going it alone (again).
http://the845club.com (blatant plug sorry) has been and will continue to be built organically, begging and borrowing advice from trusted friends and colleagues and leveraging cash when it arrives (when not if) to upgrade the status of the business …
I would liken it to learning to drive in Central London – if you can drive there, you can drive anywhere.
If you can set up and grow in a recession – you are going to have a success on your hands.
Mark.
