My Business of WordPress Keynote

by francine Hardaway on June 25, 2010

Here it is, my keynote from the Business of WordPress Conference in Atlanta this week. I had an awesome time doing it, so I guess I will try to do more of them. I haven’t put myself out there as a speaker, just as I never put myself out there as a “social media guru,” but I really liked this!! Mike Schinkel and Marna Friedman ran a great conference, and that was part of it.

So now that I want to be a speaker, give me feedback. I already know my slides suck, but how’s my story?

Great talk, Francine! I started using WP about a year ago and have several blogs for various business interests. I'm redesigning as I go to update the old designs. I love WP and just had to change hosting companies because of their unwillingness to keep their servers WP friendly (esp for 1-click updates). I agree with all the points you made for business owners, and there's no excuse for not keeping up now that WP has made it so easy.

Francine, next time you prep for one of these speeches – let me know. I'll help out with making the slides better. Together we can make them as great as your stories!
