Every once in a while, Phoenix has one of those perfect days, and Mark Salustro and I were having brunch at LGO today under this bottle brush tree. I looked up, and there it was. So I pulled out my iPhone and documented its existence, even though I am the worst photographer on the planet.

I must admit, some of my best memories of my life in Phoenix , were in the spring having lunch at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen up on 17 just after Peoria Rd….the best of days….

Francine, I’m afraid you’ll have to change your title after taking this amazing shot.
You managed to shoot into the light without getting a backlit effect on those delicate bottlebrush — and all on an iPhone.

Brava.

I like the idea that you reacted spontaneously and captured this.
