Every once in a while, Phoenix has one of those perfect days, and Mark Salustro and I were having brunch at LGO today under this bottle brush tree. I looked up, and there it was. So I pulled out my iPhone and documented its existence, even though I am the worst photographer on the planet.

I must admit, some of my best memories of my life in Phoenix , were in the spring having lunch at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen up on 17 just after Peoria Rd….the best of days….

You managed to shoot into the light without getting a backlit effect on those delicate bottlebrush — and all on an iPhone.
