Bionic Woman: Play by Play of my Cataract Surgery

by francine Hardaway on October 23, 2007

Wondering where I had this done? At the Barnett-Dulaney Eye Center where they specialize in it. Surgeon? Scott Perkins. He has done over 35,000 of these. Takes him 5 minutes per eye.

Fascinating videos Francine! I have a friend getting Cataract surgery in a few weeks and he was pretty worried. Good to see it’s not even close to as bad as he was envisioning. Thanks for sharing your journey!

Francine,
Thank you so much for taking a lot of mystery out of this for me. I’ve wanted to have RK surgery fcr years and this helps calm my apprehension.

RK, according to the people who did mine, is even less of an imposition. According to the nurse, about 20 seconds an eye!
