Touring Second Life with Philip Linden. This was a great panel about the Virtual Web. The consensus was that it’s really coming, because the next generation of kids will have grown up with it. IBM already uses it for team meetings, and for training and learning. Irving Wladawsky-Berger, a brilliant IBMer, says training and learning are the killer app for virtual worlds.
