Guy Kawasaki spoke this morning at Gnomedex 2007 on the Art of Evangelism, which is my favorite of all his speeches. When I went up to say hello, he promised to take a picture with me if I wore the monkey hat (courtesy of exhibitor Minekey).
This was certainly not the first time in my life that I’ve made a monkey of myself, so of course I said yes. But when Guy said he would hold the banana, things seemed to turn in the direction of x-ratings…
Such a superb meeting of smart people up here. Justin Kan is up on the podium right now talking about how he started Justin.tv. Before him was Guy, and before him a wonderful talker about using the web for the common good. And the morning keynote? A former Marine/CIA/spy who railed at us about how intelligence needed to be open-sourced and the bloggers need to overthrow Congress.
